"How do you price the ArchimedesVM system"

We charge a system licence, set-up and implementation fee to create:

  • the management structure
  • collate and set up all the client and user information
  • initial templates from your existing artwork files
  • image galleries for options in your templates

The cost also covers initial training and the creation of bespoke training video(s) for your company users.

You then have two options:

  1. a simple 'per user' fee per month. This covers all ongoing management and setting up of additional templates and galleries as they are developed. This cost reduces based on the numbers of users
  2. an annual maintenance fee for unlimited users and an agreed pricing structure for setting up new templates and adding to the image libraries

"How secure is my data, and who has access to what?"

Security and access to the ArchimedesVM system is also critical, and you may rest assured that it is all held on highly secure servers. Access is user or group of users specific so that individuals only have access to what you decide they should see.

"How do I control how much users spend?"

Budgets can be set against users, when appropriate, so that they can only spend specified amounts during a given period, or have to request additional authority to go above a certain level. Also see our Features page.

"Who does all the printing?"

Print files can be used by your own printer or you can use our print-partner, whose costs are very competitive because of our buying power. It's entirely up to you. Naturally we cannot guarantee the quality from third-party print services.

"How do I set up a new user?"

To ensure your security, an on-line form will be available for you to confirm details of a new user and how much access they have. Setup of the user can be by an authorised client supervisor.

"Can I merge unique data - e.g. name and address data for Direct Mail?"

Yes.

"How long does it take to set up a new system?"

It takes just a few weeks usually but is subject to the complexity of your galleries and how the users are set up. With larger systems we suggest running a small pilot scheme first to get everything working as you want it, and then scale it up throughout the business. We will be able to give you a detailed timescale schedule at the same time as the cost estimate.

"What if I send an order to print with an error?"

You can retrieve an order up to the time it is printed usually, but it is your responsibility to proof your work. This is why some clients have a secondary authorisation process - so someone else always checks a proof just to make sure.
